The Songo.info Champion’s Race in Kayamandi, Stellenbosch, is a firm favourite on the local MTB calendar. After a serious injury in January that required surgery and months of rehab, the intensity of the short track was a little too much for Luke. However, finishing in 6th place in his first mountain bike race of the year didn’t dampen his delight to be back on a mountain bike and racing for the finish.
