Luke’s first race in the South African XCO Cup took place at Thaba Trails in the hills of Johannesburg South in Gauteng. Luke made his intentions clear by taking an emphatic 1st place in the XCC race on Friday. Seeing off his rivals with a show of dominance, Luke was more than ready for the XCO on Saturday.
Under the searing South African sun, Luke took 3rd place in the XCO race. At home on local soil, Luke’s experience served him well in the race, and he immediately set his sights on Brazil and the first two World Cup races with his Cube Factory Racing Team.
