Inspired Testing, a specialist software quality engineering and testing company within the Dynamic Technologies group, operates across South Africa, the UK and other international markets, growing from strength to strength with a female-dominated executive team.
The team comprises Amanda Dambuza, Non-Executive Director of Inspired Testing SA; Maggie Moonsammy, Account Executive; Carlize Bosch, Sales Executive; Louise Lowman, Head of People; Keletso Moche, Head of Technical Consulting and Karin van Blerk, Head of Marketing. Together, this remarkable group shared their insights into strategy, responsibility and what it really takes to lead.
According to the team, one of the biggest strategic challenges facing IT services businesses today is the pressure to respond meaningfully to AI and automation. Generic responses don’t work, and Inspired Testing’s role is to help clients become genuinely future-proof in ways that align with their actual business goals.
The women agreed that businesses of today need to adapt at an unprecedented rate. As technology changes, they need to make hard decisions, fast. Agility is essential for success. But for many, there’s a fear and mistrust of the new or the unknown that can delay these decisions, and that causes a serious knock-on effect.
That’s why working with and for Inspired Testing is unlike anything else. Dambuza says that what the company has built here is deliberate. The culture, the sense of purpose, the way people show up for each other and for clients – none of it is accidental. They are genuinely forward-thinking as an organisation, operating in a space where they can make a real difference in the way quality is understood and delivered. People, passion and purpose is not just their tagline, it’s how they operate.
For Moche, one of the company’s greatest obligations in an AI-driven environment is the responsible adoption of AI. It’s about maintaining governance and operational control when organisations are being pushed to move fast in order to stay relevant. At Inspired Testing, AI is seen as a complement to human capability, not a replacement.
As a sales executive, Bosch understands that what clients need is a strategic partner rather than individual tools. They need a partner with the specialist expertise to lead them through changes, not a generalist providing them with software and moving on. And when working with Inspired Testing, clients get far more than just testers – they are supported by a full operational capability, providing not only delivery capacity but also specialist expertise, consulting and thought leadership. It is a point of pride for Lowman that their talent pool is both deep and exceptional.
Over the past few years, the leadership team has learned a thing or two about running a business through uncertain times. Van Blerk notes that one of Inspired Testing’s strengths is their unwavering quality thread. Their expertise sits firmly within quality assurance, and there’s no bargaining on that standard. That precision and consistency is what keeps them relevant.
The leadership team understands that times of uncertainty also expose the real strength of an organisation. This is why they have worked together to foster a genuine sense of community, making sure their people feel supported and empowered to take ownership even when the environment is unpredictable. That cohesion doesn’t happen by accident – it’s a thoughtful response built on years of knowledge and experience.
Moonsammy says, “Many people will say they can adapt to change – but what really matters is embracing it. The market has shifted enormously even in just the past year, from basic awareness of AI to understanding how to actually implement it. That agility goes hand in hand with the opportunity to be part of the change.”
Businesses need to stop mistaking inertia for strategy. The clients who delay the hardest decisions are usually the ones most at risk – and by the time the urgency becomes undeniable, the cost of acting has risen significantly.
At Inspired Testing, they see transformation as an investment, not an expense. Most businesses look at the cost of change and think they can’t afford it. But they’re not calculating the cost of not changing. That’s the number that really counts. And this company doesn’t just deliver a solution and move on. They change the nature of a client’s challenge through their expertise, for the better, and that relationship endures.
“We’re all equally driven. Not because it’s mandated, but because we genuinely want this to succeed,” says Lowman. “You can’t teach that quality of commitment; it comes through in how we work together every day.” For Moche, it’s the sense of community created by an international company. She says, “What strikes me is how much this company believes in people’s potential – matched by genuine investment in career development and real management support.” And that combination is rarer than it should be.
It’s the forward and future-minded thinking of asking what’s next that drives the company forward. They’re making a real difference in the IT space – one that is evolving, influencing, shaking things up.
As a final thought, Dambuza says, “What gives me confidence as a board member is that the culture scales. Most organisations have strong values early on – what’s harder is preserving them as headcount grows. Inspired Testing continues to do this. This leadership team treats culture as something to actively shape and influence, not just hope it persists. That discipline is what makes the difference between a company that talks about its values and one that actually lives them.”
