Paddle for a Dynamic cause with Upper Sigma!

Upper Sigma, a Dynamic Technologies group company, is invested in changing lives for the better. For Upper Sigma employees Karen Campbell and Stacey Morrow, this support is one of the reasons they love being part of the Upper Sigma global team. By getting involved in a community fundraising initiative such as this, and by encouraging their team members to take part, they are making a difference.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and together, Upper Sigma and Passle are raising funds and awareness to help fight breast cancer by teaming up with the Annapolis Dragon Boat Club (ADBC) based in the US. Friends, family, and colleagues are invited to book a seat on a Dragon Boat and take a paddle on the Chesapeake at Annapolis on October 13, 2022. Not a fan of the water? No problem! You can donate here and still make a difference.

Lead Solution Engineer Karen Campbell says, “The Annapolis Dragon Boat Club has focused on offering women and men affected by breast cancer, along with their families, an opportunity to get involved in doing something positive. Something that helps build strength and confidence, and that allows them to retain a sense of self and community whilst they are going through treatment or are in recovery or remission from breast cancer. As a supporter of the club, I feel privileged every time I get in the boat to paddle with such an awe-inspiring group of people.”

Legal CRM Account Executive Stacey Morrow says, “I am excited that Upper Sigma is willing to support causes that are near and dear to their employees. In August of 2004, my mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. As with any diagnosis, it came as a shock, particularly with no family history. After several rounds of chemo and radiation, my mom was diagnosed as cancer free and has had clear scans ever since! From that point our family has been avid supporters of the Susan G Koman for the Cure breast cancer foundation, as well as fundraising for those in our local community who have been impacted by cancer.”

Join Upper Sigma, Passle, and the Annapolis Dragon Boat Club to make a difference and help change the lives of those affected by breast cancer.
