Dynamic Technologies group company CloudSmiths was recently awarded the Ohana 2020 Award at the Salesforce Sub-Saharan African Awards Ceremony on 24 July 2020. This award is given annually by Salesforce to partner companies who have exemplified the Salesforce values of trust, commitment to customer success, innovation, and equality in all their ‘Ohana’ relationships – their clients, their people and their community.
Ohana is a Hawaiian word meaning ‘family’ in an extended sense of the term, including blood-related, adoptive or intentional. The Ohana ethos is to take care of each other, have fun together, and work collaboratively to make the world a better place.
The name of the award most aptly describes CloudSmiths ongoing and very intentional efforts to create an inclusive family of employees and adoptive family of partners, customers, and community. “We strive to live this out in every step of our CloudSmiths Journey,” says Jason Timm, Managing Director of CloudSmiths.
As the largest Salesforce Consulting Partner in the region, CloudSmiths pursues with intent the values embodied in the Salesforce culture and extends these values to their Ohana, inspiring each other and their customers, while making significant contributions to their community through a multitude of charitable and life-changing initiatives. It is therefore fitting that the team has been recognised by Salesforce with the Ohana Award for 2020.
